StumbleSwipe — Terms of Service

StumbleSwipe ("we," "us," "the app") is a mobile app for discovering independent websites. By using StumbleSwipe you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What StumbleSwipe does

StumbleSwipe shows you a feed of independent, hand- and machine-curated websites and lets you browse them, vote them up or down, tag them, comment, follow other users, and submit sites you've found yourself.

2. Accounts

You can browse and vote without creating an account — the app starts you off with an anonymous session. Comments, following, and submitting sites require a real account (email and password). You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account.

3. Third-party websites

StumbleSwipe surfaces websites we don't own, run, or control. We do our best to filter out banned or harmful sites, but we can't vouch for the content, availability, or privacy practices of any third-party site you reach through the app. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.

4. User content

Anything you post — comments, tags, site submissions, your profile name and bio — is your content, but by posting it you give us permission to display it within the app. Don't post anything illegal, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights. Automated filtering blocks some obviously abusive comments, and any content can be removed and any account suspended at our discretion, particularly for violations of law or these terms.

5. Voting and tagging

Votes and tags from the community affect what gets shown, how it's ranked, and which tags a site carries. We may adjust or reset this system at any time to keep it fair and useful.

6. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your personal data — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that means.

7. No warranty

StumbleSwipe is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that any particular site will remain in the feed.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. We'll update the date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
